Annual Awards 2022

Do you know a leading REALTOR® or Affiliate member? At the Annual Installation of Officers and Directors on December 6th, 2022, we will recognize REALTOR® and Affiliate members who exemplify professional excellence and service to the real estate community.

Do you know someone—including yourself—who deserves to be honored in one of these ways? Submit a nomination form by one of the following dates:

Affiliate, REALTOR®, and Volunteer of the Year nominations must be received by Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 5:00pm.

The California Association of REALTORS® OPPOSES Senate Bill 1105, authored by Senator Ben Hueso, and Senate Bill 679, authored by Senator Sydney Kamlager, which would lead to new property taxes, making getting into and keeping a home more expensive and difficult, pushing homeownership out of reach for many of California's working families. We need YOUR help to STOP these bills!

Join by October 31!

If you are interested in serving on an Orange County REALTORS® committee in 2023, please submit your application by October 31, 2022. To learn more about the committees, visit our Committee page.

Rules & Regulations

On February 7, 2022, NAR sent a letter to Fannie Mae and the Federal Housing Finance Agency regarding Fannie Mae’s recent announcement that appraisers will be required to use ANSI® Z765-2021 (American National Standards Institute®) for measuring, calculating, and reporting above-grade and below-grade square footage for appraisals requiring interior and exterior inspections with an effective date of April 1, 2022. NAR requests that Fannie Mae delay implementation of this new requirement until Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA adopt the same requirement to reduce confusion.
