Housing Snapshot: Existing-Home Sales - March 2025

According to the National Association of REALTORS®', existing-home sales dropped in March to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.02 million, reflecting a 5.9% decline compared to the previous month and a 2.4% decrease year-over-year. Inventory levels showed some improvement, rising to 4.0 months of supply, up from 3.2 months in March 2024. Meanwhile, the median sales price of existing homes reached $403,700, marking a 2.7% increase from the same time last year.
