Housing Snapshot: Pending Home Sales - March 2025

According to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), pending home sales in March 2025 saw a notable increase, with the index rising to 76.5, a 6.1% gain from the previous month. Regionally, the South led with a 9.8% monthly increase, pushing its index to 94.1. The Midwest followed with a 4.9% rise to 77.7, while the West experienced a 4.8% uptick, reaching 58.6. In contrast, the Northeast was the only region to see a decline, dipping 0.5% to 62.5.
