About Dues and Fees

The total amount shown applies to new members. Payment plan options are available until June. If you are reinstating your membership, please contact us for the appropriate total. Orange County REALTORS® dues / MLS fees may be paid by AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Check, or Cash.

To open lockboxes, you will need to subscribe to the monthly eKEY service on your smartphone. Key leases may be paid by AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover. No check, cash or money orders. Lockboxes are not included and may be purchased separately.

Military Discount for New REALTOR® Members: When joining Orange County REALTORS® for the first time, the Association will offer a one-time waiver of Orange County REALTORS® local dues and Orange County REALTORS® processing fees for members on Active Military Duty and/or their spouses. Also, when joining Orange County REALTORS® for the first time, the Association will offer a one-time waiver of Orange County REALTORS® processing fees and a one-time, half-off of Orange County REALTORS® dues to U.S. Military Veterans. We'll need proof of Active Duty or Veteran status at time of joining.

California Association of REALTOR® Dues: C.A.R. membership dues total includes a REALTOR® Action Assessment ($69 of $231), a mandatory state political assessment. Members may elect in writing to have their RAA amount go toward C.A.R.'s general fund for non-candidate political issues. This fund is used for educational and mobilization efforts on issues specifically impacting REALTORS® and similar efforts that do not involve contribution to candidates.

REALTOR® Action Fund Contribution: Your voluntary contribution to the REALTOR® Action Fund is not just a donation, it is an investment in the continued success of your business. The ideas, actions, and decisions of elected officials at all levels of government directly affect the real estate industry, housing availability, and your business. Elected officials at the city, state, and national level make decisions about real estate that range from the mundane to the monumental and include open house sign size and placement, land use and zoning, business licensing requirements, point-of-sale mandates, property tax assessments, lending practices, mortgage interest rates, and the mortgage interest deduction.

To educate both politicians and the public, the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) established the REALTOR® Action Fund (RAF) to which member REALTORS® contribute. Expenditures from this fund ensure your ability to do business and protect your pocketbook. For example:

•       At the state level, C.A.R. was successful in protecting your Independent Contractor Status when the State Legislature passed Assembly Bill 5 and in defeating rent control during the past election.

•       At the national level, NAR has been active in protecting the National Flood Insurance Program and in preserving the mortgage interest deduction.

The true cost of doing business is $148.

CRMLS Access and Security Fees may be waived for current CRMLS members.

Supra Keys

Contact us to make sure the key issued to you by your primary Association will access lockboxes in our area. If not, you’ll need to fill out a Reciprocal Key Request. If you are a member of a San Diego Association that participates on the San Diego MLS, you will need to lease a Supra key from your Association first, then “recip” it to Orange County REALTORS®.
