With 13,371 REALTOR® members, Orange County REALTORS® is the largest local Association of REALTORS® in the state and the tenth-largest association nationally. More than 30 members are appointed by the Association to serve as Directors to the California Association of REALTORS®, and at least 143 other members serve as committee members. These members volunteer hundreds of hours collectively during the year to represent the membership interests to the statewide California Association of REALTORS®, and some also serve at the national level to the National Association of REALTORS®.

"We are a servant-leadership led organization,' noted Matt Clements, 2019 President, Orange County REALTORS®.  "A servant-leader is led by a natural desire to serve, and that choice leads the person to aspire to lead. We are very fortunate our members embrace a culture of serving - their clients, their fellow members, and their industry."

Danielle Corliss, Orange County REALTORS® President-Elect, notes that these unpaid, volunteer-driven positions are vitally important to give a voice to all of the Associations' members at the local state and national level.  "They take time away from their businesses and their families to contribute to their association and their industry, and we are very appreciative of that."  "We are also very fortunate to have a good representation of our diverse membership that includes residential and commercial agents, as well as our Millennial led 'Young Professional Network,' seasoned agents and brokers."

Four years ago then Association President Rita Tayenaka, proposed the formation of a Leadership Academy to train up and coming potential leaders. The Orange County REALTORS® Leadership Academy was developed to help participants develop specific skills and perspective to achieve effectiveness in leadership, business and life; and to develop the confidence to embrace the responsibility to serve as a leader in the real estate industry and the community.  With nearly sixty alumni the Academy has achieved its goals, recognized in the success of its alumni - of the ten appointments noted above, five are Leadership Academy graduates.

Orange County REALTORS® is the voice for real estate in Orange County for its members and the clients they serve.
