Housing Snapshot: Pending Home Sales - December 2024

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Housing Snapshot for December 2024 shows a Pending-Home Sales Index of 74.2, reflecting a 5.5% decrease from the previous month. Regionally, the South had the highest index at 90.6, with a 2.7% month over month (MoM) decrease, while the West experienced the largest drop at 10.3%, bringing its index down to 57.7. The Midwest saw a 4.9% decline, with an index of 74.3, and the Northeast had a decrease of 8.1%, bringing its index to 62.3.
